One way to achieve this is by providing a platform for practitioners to share their concrete experiences.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"11:3-11:320\">To improve students&#8217; social research skills, particularly in Quantitative Data Analysis and Marketing Research, the Sociology Study Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) held a Public Lecture with the theme &#8220;Brand Acceptance While Targeting Potential Consumers: Marketing Research Methods for Social Scientists.&#8221;<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"13:3-13:256\">The public lecture was held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the Ruang Serbaguna, FIS, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The speaker for the public lecture was Ms. Veratrina Suprabasari, S.Sos, M.M, a senior researcher at PT Summarecon Tbk.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"15:3-15:312\">In her presentation, Ms. Suprabasari shared her insights and experiences in conducting marketing research, particularly in the context of brand acceptance and targeting potential consumers. She emphasized the importance of using quantitative data analysis methods to obtain reliable and valid research results.<\/p><p data-sourcepos=\"17:3-17:286\">The public lecture was attended by Dr. Asep Suryana, M.Si (Head of Sociology Study Program), Dr. Rusfadia Saktiyanti, M.Si (Moderator), and Sociology students from the Class of 2022.
