Jakarta, February 26-27, 2025– The History Education Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH) of the State University of Jakarta (UNJ), has just completed a field assessment for accreditation. This activity took place at the K FISH UNJ Building and the Dewi Sartika UNJ Building, presenting a team of assessors from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT), namely Prof. Dr. Bahri, S.Pd., M.Pd. from Makassar State University and Prof. Dr. Samsidar Tanjung, M.Pd. from Medan State University.

The assessor team was officially welcomed by the Vice Chancellor and representatives of the university leadership. After the opening ceremony in Room 212, Building K, the assessment began with an in-depth discussion between the assessors and the heads of study program management units. Various aspects were assessed, including study program development policies, governance systems, management, as well as academic achievements and future development plans.

In this assessment, the assessors together with the Study Program Coordinator (Kaprodi), Self-Evaluation Report Team (LED), and Quality Assurance Team discussed accreditation criteria, such as the vision and mission of the study program, education system, research, and community service. In addition, special discussions were held with lecturers and education staff regarding academic performance, administration, and support for facilities and services for students.

The field assessment agenda lasted for two days. On the first day, activities included a confirmation session on the development policy, governance, and academic achievements of the study program. In addition, a discussion session was held with lecturers, education staff, and internal quality assurance implementers. The assessors also conducted direct observations of the learning process in the classroom.

On the second day, the assessment continued with a microteaching session with lecturers and students, as well as discussions with alumni and external users to obtain input regarding the quality of graduates. The assessor team also reviewed various academic and supporting facilities, including laboratories, libraries, and lecturer rooms. The activity ended with the delivery of feedback and the signing of the field assessment minutes.

With the implementation of this field assessment, it is hoped that the UNJ History Education Undergraduate Study Program can obtain the best accreditation results, while continuing to improve the academic quality and management of higher education in the future.
