Carrying the theme <em>\u201cRedefining Digital Media in Fast-Paced Trends\u201d<\/em>, the event aimed to strengthen students\u2019 competencies in <strong>digital literacy<\/strong> and <strong>personal branding<\/strong> as preparation for the evolving media landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This activity was integrated into the <strong>ICT course<\/strong> and attended by <strong>Communication Science students 2025 <\/strong>as well as <strong>MBKM<\/strong> participants from <strong>Islamic Education (PAI) and Social Education (Pendsos)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two speakers from <strong>KapanLagi Youniverse (KLY)<\/strong>, the parent company of Liputan6.com, shared their expertise. <strong>Edu Krisnadefa<\/strong>, Managing Editor of Liputan6.com, presented \u201cEnhancing Digital Media Literacy through Fact-Checking\u201d, highlighting the importance of verification skills in today\u2019s information flow. Meanwhile, <strong>Eko Setiawan<\/strong>, Social Media Manager of KLY, delivered \u201cPersonal Branding in the Digital Era\u201d, offering strategies for building a strong and professional digital identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program received enthusiastic participation, with students actively engaging in discussions on fact-checking, digital literacy, and self-branding. Their involvement reflected increasing awareness of the importance of digital competencies in both academic and professional contexts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coordinator of S-1 Communication Science UNJ, <strong>Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR.,<\/strong> stated:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe presence of teaching practitioners from KapanLagi Youniverse and Liputan6.com encouraged students to develop critical thinking regarding the post-truth era and the future of media professionals.
