The event served as an educational and inspiring platform for students to gain a closer understanding of broadcasting, sports journalism, and the national media industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carrying the theme <em>\u201cBuilding a Smart and Critical Generation through the Analysis of World Football Strategies,\u201d<\/em> the event aimed to improve sports media literacy and strengthen students\u2019 critical thinking skills in understanding both national and international football issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through an interactive talk show session, Communication Studies students at UNJ had the opportunity to engage directly with TVRI Sport reporters and football pundits regarding experiences in covering international sporting events, the broadcasting industry, and career opportunities in media and sports. Participants also showed great enthusiasm during the <em>Commentator Challenge<\/em>, a football analysis competition designed to develop communication, public speaking, and spontaneous analytical skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event reflected the commitment of the Communication Studies Program at UNJ to supporting student competency development, particularly in practical communication, broadcasting, and creative media. The collaboration with TVRI was expected to provide students with direct exposure to the dynamics of public broadcasting and sports journalism in Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Coordinator of Communication Science UNJ, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., expressed her feelings, &#8220;This event is also part of the alumni\u2019s role as a liaison between the department and TVRI. As a state-owned television station, TVRI has been entrusted this year with broadcasting the World Cup, which has become part of its new branding.
