The Sociology program curriculum aligns with the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI), a nine-level system that defines competency standards across various educational and professional fields. Specifically, our program falls under level 6, which reflects the depth and complexity of knowledge expected from a Bachelor's or Diploma graduate. This alignment with KKNI ensures that our curriculum equips students with the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful in the workplace.
Our curriculum is designed to be comprehensive and well-rounded, emphasizing a breadth of knowledge, real-world relevance, a balance between theory and practice, and individualized learning. We achieve this by exposing students to a diverse range of sociological concepts, theories, and research methods, ensuring a strong foundation for understanding social phenomena. Furthermore, we integrate contemporary social issues and real-world applications, making the knowledge directly applicable to the challenges of today's society. The program also strikes a balance between theory and practice, equipping students with both critical thinking skills to analyze social issues and the practical tools to address them. Recognizing that students have diverse learning styles and needs, we cater to this through a variety of teaching methods, assessments, and opportunities for individual exploration.
