CURRICULUM STRUCTURE
The curriculum for the Undergraduate Sociology Studi Program Universitas Negeri Jakarta is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become professional sociologists who can work in a variety of settings, including government, non-profit organizations, and the private sector. The curriculum itself divided into four main areas:
Development Planning Capability
This area of the curriculum focuses on the theories and methods of development planning. Students will learn how to identify and analyze development problems, and how to design and implement effective development programs.
Social Research Skills
This area of the curriculum focuses on the theories and methods of social research. Students will learn how to collect and analyze data, and how to write research reports.
General Logical and Sociological Reasoning Skills
This area of the curriculum focuses on the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students will learn how to think logically and critically about social issues, and how to apply sociological concepts to real-world problems.
Sociological Attitudes
This area of the curriculum focuses on the development of professional attitudes and ethics. Students will learn about the importance of objectivity, integrity, and social responsibility in sociological research and practice.
