Signing of Memorandum of Understanding and Implementation Agreement (IA) for the Internship Program between the Undergraduate Communication Science Program at UNJ and Universitas Terbuka

Jakarta, July 28, 2025 – In an effort to strengthen academic collaboration and provide hands-on experience for students, the Undergraduate Communication Science Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) has officially partnered with Universitas Terbuka through a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Implementation Agreement (IA).

The signing took place during the “Internship Briefing, Send-Off, and PKS 2025 Signing Ceremony” held at Universitas Terbuka. The event marked a significant step in launching a structured internship program aimed at enhancing students’ readiness for professional careers in communication and media industries.

Key representatives from both universities were present to witness the signing and express their commitment to empowering students through real-world exposure. The event also featured a comprehensive briefing session for participating students, outlining expectations, responsibilities, and learning outcomes of the internship program

This collaboration signifies both institutions’ dedication to fostering mutual growth, academic synergy, and student development. The internship program is expected to open new pathways for knowledge exchange and long-term academic cooperation.

Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR, Coordinator of the S-1 Communication Science Program at UNJ, stated “May this MoA and IA signing serve as the foundation for a meaningful partnership that not only strengthens institutional ties but also enriches students with impactful, hands-on experience to support their future careers.”
