As for the external conditions in the micro-environment, the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Communication Science at UNJ is a newly established program, which received its accreditation number 355/KPT/I/2017 on the date of program accreditation, June 13, 2017.
Political Aspect
In the political aspect. Communication Science teaches political communication courses, with the learning oucomes enabling graduates to utilize the services of communication science graduates who work as political consultants for individuals or political parties.

In the aspect of advancing knowledge and technology. The Bachelor’s Degree Program in Communication Science at UNJ is an educational program focused on advancing knowledge and technology in the field of Communication Science.
This program was established due to its popularity among prospective students from all over Indonesia. It admitted its first batch of students in 2018 and quickly became a favorite choice. According to tempo.co (4/4/2018), during the 2018 Joint Selection for State Universities (SBMPT), the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Communication Science at UNJ received a staggering 2,634 applicants. Academic data collected by UNJ’s academic department revealed that there were a total of 11,752 applicants for the program from all admission channels in its inaugural year.
However, the program admitted only 37 students from the first batch in 2018. In the following year, 2019, the program admitted 83 students. These students came from diverse educational backgrounds, including graduates of high schools, vocational schools, Islamic schools (MAN), and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren). Furthermore, they hailed from all over Indonesia, spanning from Sumatra to Papua.
