Held at the Pascasarjana Building Auditorium, Campus A UNJ, on June 11, 2025, the event was attended by S-1 Communication Science UNJ lecturers, guest lecturers, family members, and relatives of the students who supported the event.

With the tagline “Gemakan Karya, Satukan Nusantara” SWARANUSA aims to strengthen the awareness of S-1 Communication Science students regarding cross-cultural issues and demonstrate how communication can serve as a bridge to unite differences, while also serving as a platform for student collaboration in responding to diversity through performing arts.

The SWARANUSA event was opened with a speech by Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR, as the Coordinator of the S-1 Communication Science UNJ. She mentioned Komunikasi Lintas Budaya course is one of the favorite courses for undergraduate students in S-1 Communication Science, and she hopes that through the SWARANUSA event, lecturers, students, and other education activists can preserve Indonesia’s diverse culture.

Following this, various artistic performances reflecting the richness of Indonesian culture from Sabang to Merauke were presented by the Batch 2024 S-1 Communication Science students. These included traditional Betawi-style gate performances, traditional dances such as the Saman, Jaipong, and Tor-Tor dances, a theater play themed on unity in diversity, and a choir singing regional songs in beautiful harmony.

Each group of S-1 Communication Science students at UNJ was given the freedom to develop their own concepts independently, from cultural research to the actual performance. Additionally, the students managed all technical aspects of the event, including visual design, publicity, documentation, logistics, and stage setup.

The event concluded with a medley dance performance by all participants, followed by a group photo session as a memory of the learning journey from the Komunikasi Lintas Budaya course they had completed over the semester.
