Jakarta, June 22, 2025 – Arya Putra Prawira, a talented S-1 Communication Science student from Batch 2023, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, has secured first place in the Solo Vocal Competition at the prestigious “Ajang Kreativitas Pemuda Jakarta Timur 2025” or known as “AKPJT”. The prestigious competition, organized by Walikota Jakarta Timur in collaboration with DISPORA, saw Arya emerge as the top vocalist in East Jakarta. The competition took place on June 20-21, 2025, at Cityplaza Jatinegara.
Arya captivated the judges and audience alike with his powerful and heartfelt rendition of the iconic Betawi song, “Si Doel Anak Betawi”. His performance not only showcased his exceptional vocal talent but also highlighted his deep appreciation for local culture and heritage.
The winners were officially announced on June 21, 2025, marking Arya’s achievement as the top solo vocalist among talented youth from across East Jakarta. This victory reflects Arya’s dedication, hard work, and passion for music, as well as the continuous support from UNJ’s academic community.
“This competition brought back the pure thrill of high-stakes rivalry! I was genuinely surprised to win, especially with so many strong contenders. However, my consistent effort and prayers ultimately proved rewarding.”, said Arya about his achievement.

Arya’s success at the “Ajang Kreativitas Pemuda Jakarta Timur” not only brings recognition to him personally but also to Universitas Negeri Jakarta as a hub for nurturing young talent.
