CERTIFICATION TEST FOR JUNIOR RELATIONS OFFICERS IN STUDY PROGRAM OF COMMUNICATION SCIENCES WITH THE INDONESIAN PUBLIC RELATIONS PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION INSTITUTION

Jakarta, March 8, 2024 – The Communication Science Study Program of Universitas Negeri Jakarta has carried out a Certification Test held with the Indonesian Public Relations Professional Certification Institute on March 5-6, 2024 at the Multipurpose Room, Faculty of Social Sciences UNJ.

Before the competency test was conducted, this activity was opened by Dr. Aris Munandar, M.Si as Vice Dean 2 of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, followed by Mr. Muslim Basya as Chairman of LSPPRI and Dr. Dini Safitri, M.Si as Coordinator of the Communication Science Study Program UNJ

Dr. Aris Munandar, M.Si said in his opening that ‘this certification test event is a provision for communication science students before finally entering the real world of work, so that it can be accepted and can be said to be competent as public relations’.

This certification was tested by several assessors, namely Dr. Muhammad Adi Pribadi, M.Com, Dr. Alfred P. Manayang, MM, Amrih Sahri, Avisina, Bsc, MM, Dr. Novi Andayani Praptiningsih, M.Si, Dr. Rahmi Winangsih, M.Si, and Suratani Bangko M.I.Kom.

Certification is carried out by doing several Competency Units consisting of interviews and also written tests. Certification participants are given an interview schedule, participants conduct interview tests according to the sequence number that has been given. Participants who are waiting for their turn to take the interview test can do a written test on the form provided. Participants were given 90 minutes of interviews and 120 minutes of written tests.

The Choir of the Communication Science Study Program, Dr. Dini Safitri S.Sos, M.Si, CPR hopes that all participants will be declared competent. “By taking the junior public relations certification exam, students get a certificate that will be useful in the world of work,” said Dini
