Jakarta, March 18, 2023 – The Bachelor of Communication Studies Program of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta received a visit from the Faculty of Social Sciences UIN Sumatra, in order to establish cooperation to improve accreditation. There was a Visiting Lecture, who taught media business.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Firdaus Wajdi, MA, Ph.D., who gave a speech at this activity and was accompanied by the ranks of vice deans I, II, and III, the Coordinator of the S1 Communication Science Study Program, as well as the ranks of Lecturers of the S1 Communication Science Study Program of the Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta. Also present and gave a speech, Dr. Nursapia Harahap, MA, as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences UIN North Sumatra Medan who was accompanied by representatives of lecturers from the Faculty of Social Sciences UIN North Sumatra Medan.
This activity contains discussions that discuss several activity programs for students such as PMM and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Social Sciences UNJ. Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., also added that if you want to collaborate in service research there will be schemes that allow national collaboration.
In addition, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences UIN North Sumatra also hopes that this collaboration can run in various activities such as the holding of lecturer exchanges, because they have the same department, namely Communication Science. The discussion also addressed the students’ final project program. UIN North Sumatera does not only provide thesis provisions as a condition of graduation, but students can choose to make journal articles as a condition of graduation with a minimum standardization of Sinta 4.
The Coordinator of the Communication Science Study Program, Dr. Dini Safitri S.Sos, M.Si, CPR was also pleased with the Visiting Lecture Activities carried out by the Faculty of Social Sciences of UIN North Sumatra Medan:
“Hopefully there will be reciprocity from visiting lecture activities and other cooperation between the two study programs in the future,” said Dini.
