Jakarta, July 15, 2025 — The Communication Science Department proudly celebrates the achievement of one of its brightest students, Arya Putra Prawira from the 2023 batch, who has made an outstanding mark in the field of performing arts. Arya clinched the 3rd place solo vocal award at the highly prestigious “Ajang Kreativitas Pemuda DKI Jakarta”. The competition took place on July 11-13, 2025.
Arya’s impressive journey began with his remarkable performance in the solo vocal competition at Region Level, where he emerged victorious and secured the right to represent East Jakarta in the provincial round. Competing with top vocal talents from across DKI Jakarta, Arya once again delivered a stunning performance, earning the coveted third place in a fiercely competitive field.
Arya’s success in both the region and the province exemplifies the spirit of perseverance, creativity, and talent that the Communication Science student body aspires to uphold. His journey serves as an inspiration not only to his fellow students but also to young creatives across the capital.
“Proud to represent UNJ and East Jakarta! The solo vocal competition was a nail-biter for three days, with fierce competition. But thanks to the incredible support from Allah SWT, family, and friends, I secured 3rd place and became a proud representative of DKI Jakarta!,” Arya commented after the awards ceremony.
“Ajang Kreativitas Pemuda”, organized by the Jakarta Provincial Government and the Department of Youth and Sports (DISPORA), aims to celebrate and nurture the talents of Jakarta’s vibrant youth through various artistic and creative competitions.
