S-1 Communication Science UNJ 2025 & Team Win 2nd Place at Senada 2025 Short Film Competition

[Jakarta, September 26, 2025] S-1 Communication Science students from Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), represented by Krisara Linguita and her interdisciplinary team, won 2nd place at the Senada 2025 Short Film Competition with their work titled “QRIS: A New Standard Challenging the Old Dominance.” The competition was held on September 25, 2025, in Jakarta and brought together creative young filmmakers from various universities.

The UNJ team consisted of students from three different programs: Digital Communication Public Relations, Sociology Education, and Management from the Faculty of Economics and Business. Their collaboration combined communication, social, and managerial perspectives to produce a short film that highlighted the transformation of digital payment technology in Indonesia.

Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR, Coordinator of the S-1 Communication Science Program at UNJ, expressed her feeling “Congratulations to Krisara. May this non-academic achievement be accompanied by academic achievements in college.”

The short film not only impressed the jury with its creativity but also engaged the audience by addressing the transition from traditional to digital financial systems through QRIS. The story emphasized the importance of adaptability and innovation in the face of technological change.

This accomplishment adds to the growing list of achievements by UNJ students in the creative and academic fields. It is expected to inspire other students to continue exploring cross-disciplinary collaboration and producing works that resonate with society.
