Global Academic Collaboration between Undergraduate Communication Science UNJ and Shinawatra University Thailand

Jakarta, 13 January 2026 — The Undergraduate Communication Science Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (FISH UNJ), conducted an official academic visit to Shinawatra University, Thailand, on 13 January 2026. This visit was part of UNJ’s ongoing efforts to strengthen international academic cooperation and to expand the global implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the field of communication studies.

The visit underscored the commitment of the Undergraduate Communication Science Study Program FISH UNJ to expanding its international academic network through strategic partnerships with overseas higher education institutions.

A key agenda of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA/IA) between the Undergraduate Communication Science Study Program FISH UNJ and Shinawatra University. The agreement serves as a formal foundation for future collaboration, including academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and international academic activities, while also reinforcing institutional trust and long-term partnership between the two universities.

Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., Head of the Undergraduate Communication Science Study Program FISH UNJ, stated,
“We hope that this collaborative partnership between both institutions will lead to the implementation of further joint programs, involving not only lecturers but also students and educational staff.”

Through this collaboration, the Undergraduate Communication Science Study Program FISH UNJ continues to strengthen its global academic reputation and affirm its role in developing internationally oriented communication education.
