Undergraduate Communication Science of UNJ Participate in The Indonesian MaxNovel & Google Creators Development Forum 2026

JAKARTA, April 30, 2026 – Undergraduate Communication Science of UNJ actively participated in “The Indonesian MaxNovel & Google Creators Development Forum 2026” on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The workshop followed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UNJ and PT Happy Lab Indonesia, serving as a platform connecting academic environments with the digital creative industry. 

The forum featured speakers from Google and MaxNovel, who delivered insights on digital monetization strategies, content development, and the transformation of user-generated content into intellectual property (IP) with cross-media potential. The discussion emphasized adaptability and innovation in navigating the current digital landscape. 

Undergraduate Communication Science of UNJ demonstrated active involvement through attentiveness during presentations, as well as contributions to interactive discussions and Q&A sessions with the speakers. This participation reflected students’ growing awareness of the digital creative industry and their interest in exploring emerging opportunities within the field.

The interaction between students and industry speakers created a dynamic learning environment that encouraged critical thinking and knowledge exchange. Students gained direct exposure to real-world industry practices while developing a broader perspective on digital communication and creative production. 

The Coordinator of Communication Science UNJ, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., expressed her feelings, “This event is a collaboration between the industry and academia, hopefully, some UNJ communication students will go on to become world-renowned content creators with global competitiveness.”

Moving forward, the Communication Science Study Program UNJ remains committed to preparing graduates who are adaptive, innovative, and competitive in the evolving digital era. Participation in this initiative expanded students’ understanding of digital ecosystems, strengthened their creative and analytical competencies, and introduced practical insights relevant to future career pathways.
