Jakarta, June 15, 2023 – On May 31, 2023, S1 Communication Science Batch 2022 students held a cultural event entitled Amerta Dwipantara with the theme “Kita Beda, Kita Satu, Kita Indonesia”.
This event was held at Bung Hatta Hall, Pascasarjana Building, Campus A, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. S1 Communication Science Batch 2022 students presented the richness of Indonesian culture from Sabang to Merauke through parades of traditional clothes, 3 language speeches, dance performances, singing, and regional food.
The lecturer of Komunikasi Lintas Budaya course of the S1 Communication Science Program, Maulina Larasati Putri, S.Sos., M.I.Kom., expressed her feelings about Amerta Dwipantara, “I thank the class of 2022 for finally being able to realize this event more than I expected. I hope, besides increasing knowledge and insight, this event can increase the love for our own culture, Indonesian culture, which is rich and varied.”
Besides that, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR, as the Coordinator of the S1 Communication Science Program also responded about the Amerta Dwipantara event, “The love for Indonesian culture which has diversity needs to be developed. As the final assignment of the Komunikasi Lintas Budaya course, students make events that at the same time grow a love for Indonesian culture should be appreciated as part of the independent learning process of project-based learning.”
