Jakarta, October 2, 2025 — S-1 Communication Science UNJ held a Professional Image Class under the course led by Dr. Wiratri Anindhita, M.Sc., in collaboration with Selvi Ayu and Meriska from Wardah and represented by Dwi Susanto and Cahya Tilani Salsabila from Gatsby as well. The session, held in the Multipurpose Room (RSG) of the Faculty of Social Science and Law (FISH) UNJ, aimed to strengthen students’ understanding of appearance, self-care, and self-presentation as key components of professional image.
The session featured two simultaneous classes: Beauty Class with Wardah, represented by Selvi and her team, and Grooming Class with Gatsby, represented by Cahya Tilani and team. Each session provided hands-on training in personal care, makeup, hairstyling, and etiquette, highlighting that professional image is not merely about physical appearance but also about self-confidence and credibility.
Throughout the class, students actively participated in interactive demonstrations and discussions. The event culminated in a Result Show, where participants presented their final looks, showcasing creativity and individuality in professional self-expression.
Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., Coordinator of the S-1 Communication Science Program, expressed her appreciation for the initiative, stated “Beauty class is a regular session that is always included in the Professional Image course of the S1-Communication Science, in addition to Table Manners. This session is one of the most interesting sessions for students who take this course as an elective.”
The event concluded with a photo session and reflection sharing among students and facilitators. The Professional Image Class reaffirmed the program’s commitment to shaping communication graduates who embody both professional competence and personal integrity.
