Strengthening Academic Readiness through the Communication Science Academic Gathering

Jakarta, February 5, 2026 — The Undergraduate Program of Communication Science, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), held a Study Program Academic Gathering (Sarasehan Prodi Seemester 124) attended by students from all cohorts, particularly the 2022 to 2025 batches. The event took place on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the 8th Floor of Ki Hadjar Dewantara Building, UNJ.

This academic gathering aimed to strengthen communication between the study program and students, while also serving as a platform to deliver strategic information related to academic preparation, study planning, and opportunities for student competency development.

The event was attended by four lecturers from the Undergraduate Communication Science Program, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., Dr. Marisa Puspita Sary, M.Si., Dr. Vera Wijayanti Sutjipto, M.Si., and Dr. E. Nugrahaeni Prananingrum, M.Si., CICS.

During the session, the lecturers delivered important information regarding course registration, academic regulations, the MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) program, inbound and outbound student exchange programs, competency certification, and various national and international academic initiatives. Students were also given the opportunity to engage in open discussions about academic challenges, study plans, and graduation preparation.

The event also featured an interactive question-and-answer session, which received high enthusiasm from participants. Topics such as MBKM participation, international programs, thesis preparation, and graduation requirements were among the main points of discussion.

Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., Coordinator of the Communication Science Program at UNJ, stated,

“Hopefully, this academic gathering can be well implemented by students, so there will be no errors in completing the course registration (KRS) and no other academic-related issues.”

Through this Academic Gathering, the Undergraduate Communication Science Program of UNJ reaffirms its commitment to improving academic services, fostering open communication, and supporting students in developing their academic and professional potential.

It is expected that this activity will serve as a positive step toward creating a collaborative, adaptive, and achievement-oriented academic environment.
