The Contribution of Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR. to Strategic Discussions at the ASPIKOM Jabodetabek Regional Working Meeting

Jakarta, February 4, 2026 — Communication Science UNJ participated in the Regional Working Meeting (Rakerwil) of the Association of Higher Education in Communication Studies (ASPIKOM) Jabodetabek Region for the 2025–2029 period, held on Wednesday (February 4) at Universitas Pakuan, Bogor.

The Regional Working Meeting is a formal agenda of ASPIKOM aimed at discussing strategic directions, formulating work programs, and strengthening coordination among Communication Science study programs within the Jabodetabek region. This forum also serves as a platform for aligning perspectives on curriculum development, accreditation, research, community service, institutional cooperation, and professional competency development in the field of communication studies.

The event was attended by ASPIKOM board members and representatives from various universities across Jabodetabek. The agenda began with an opening ceremony and remarks delivered by the Chair of ASPIKOM Jabodetabek Region, Dr. Erna Febriani, S.Si., M.Si., followed by a welcoming address from Universitas Pakuan as the host institution. The meeting also featured the signing of a cooperation agreement between ASPIKOM Jabodetabek Region and Universitas Pakuan, marking a commitment to strengthening institutional collaboration among higher education institutions.

The core activities of the meeting included discussions and presentations from each ASPIKOM department, covering areas such as curriculum development, accreditation and quality assurance, research and community service, scientific publication, organizational development, strategic cooperation, professional competency development, and public relations and public communication.

In one of the strategic sessions, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR, the head of the Undergraduate Program in Communication Science UNJ, served as a moderator. Her role contributed to guiding discussions and ensuring effective exchanges of ideas among participants, particularly in sessions addressing organizational strengthening, strategic partnerships, and communication practices within higher education institutions. She also stated, “Alhamdulillah, the Regional Working Meeting was successfully conducted. However, the programs that were presented and proposed now represent commitments that must be fulfilled. Hopefully, these commitments can be carried out with responsibility and integrity.”

Through its participation in this Regional Working Meeting, the Undergraduate Program in Communication Science UNJ reaffirms its commitment to actively engaging in academic collaboration, enhancing the quality of communication education, and supporting the sustainable development of higher education in Indonesia.
