Friday, September 27, 2024 – The Coordinator of the Communication Science Study Program was the representative to attend the discussion regarding the collaboration between the Faculty of Social Sciences, Jakarta State University and the Faculty of Ushuluddin, Adab, and Da’wah (FUAD) of the State Islamic University (UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar). This discussion was also attended by the Dean of FIS, Firdaus Wajdi, PhD., Deputy Dean I of FIS, Dr. Kurniawati, M.Sc., Deputy Dean II of FIS, Dr. Aris Munandar, M.Sc., Deputy Dean III of FIS, Dr. Abdul Haris Fatgehipon, M.Sc., and representatives of lecturers from both faculties.
In this discussion, the head of the Islamic political thought study program, Mrs. Ulya Fitri, M.Sc., said that this collaboration is an important momentum in efforts to improve the quality of education and research in the social, cultural, and da’wah fields. Deputy Dean I of FIS, Dr. Kurniawati, M.Sc., welcomed this collaboration initiative. According to her, the synergy between these faculties can provide significant contributions to the development of science, especially in the social, cultural, and religious fields. This activity was closed with the handover of a plaque and the signing of a memorandum of agreement (MoA) between FIS UNJ and FUAD UIN Mahmud Yunus Batu Sangkar. After the activity, Mrs. Ulya and Mr. Mahmuda rushed to the Hata Hall to give a guest lecture on the Political Communication course of the UNJ Communication Science Study Program.
The Coordinator of the Communication Science Study Program, Dr. Dini Safitri, M.Si gave a response to the Discussion and Collaboration activities between the Faculty of Social Sciences and FUAD UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar.
“Alhamdulillah, after this activity. The Communication Science Study Program immediately implemented it by holding a guest lecture attended by the 2024 and 2024 classes. God willing, it will continue with UNJ course lecturers who will become guest lecturers at UIN Batu Sangkar,” said Dini
