Depok, October 11, 2024 – A group of 120 students from the Bachelor’s Program in Communication Science at Jakarta State University (UNJ) visited the Communication Department of the University of Indonesia (UI). The visit, which took place at Auditorium I Building, Faculty of Humanities UI, marks the final series of the Field Study Program (KKL) conducted by UNJ’s Communication Science Study Program.
The UNJ student delegation was warmly welcomed by the leadership of UI’s Communication Department, represented by the Head of the Undergraduate Program, Whisnu Triwibowo, S.Sos., M.A., Ph.D., and the Secretary of the Undergraduate Program, Bernika Yustisiana Narang, S.Sos., M.MediaPract.
During the visit, UNJ students received a comprehensive explanation about the profile of UI’s Communication Department. Whisnu Triwibowo and Bernika Yustisiana Narang presented the department’s flagship programs, including the international class, which is one of the key strengths of UI’s Communication Department.
Following the presentation session, UNJ students had the opportunity to participate in a campus tour, which included a visit to the UI TV facility. The visit to UI TV provided a real-world perspective on broadcasting practices and media content production in an academic environment.
This visit is part of UNJ’s Communication Science Study Program’s efforts to provide broad exposure to its students, introducing them to various aspects of education and communication practices at leading institutions.
