Semarang, October 8, 2024 – The Undergraduate Communication Science Program of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) visited the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. The visit, attended by 120 students from the 2021 class, was part of the Field Work Study (KKL) program and marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and an Implementation of Arrangement (IA) between the two study programs.
The highlight of the visit was the signing of the MoU and IA between the Undergraduate Communication Science Program of UNJ and the Undergraduate Communication Science Program of UNDIP. These agreements covered student exchange programs, research collaborations, and joint curriculum development.
Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR, Head of the Communication Science Program at UNJ, expressed her gratitude for the warm reception from UNDIP. “We are very thankful for the warm welcome from FISIP UNDIP. The signing of the MoU and IA marks the beginning of a closer collaboration between our two institutions,” said Dr. Safitri.
The UNJ delegation received a warm welcome from UNDIP, represented by the Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of FISIP UNDIP, S. Rouli Manalu, S.Sos., MCommSt., Ph.D. In his remarks, Dr. Rouli emphasized the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions.
“This visit is a positive step that promotes active collaboration between UNJ and UNDIP, especially in the fields of academics and communication,” said Dr. Rouli.
During the visit, UNJ students had the opportunity to interact with UNDIP students and faculty members and participated in sharing sessions on best practices in communication education and research.
