[Jakarta, 9 May 2025] On Thursday, May 8, 2025, two undergraduate students of the S-1 Communication Science Study Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) batch 2021, Praventyasari Mutiara and M. Teuku Luthfi Fazli, held a public thesis defense. The session took place at Ruang Serba Guna of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law Building, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The open thesis defense was held as a public forum, allowing anyone interested to attend and observe the proceedings.

M. Teuku Luthfi Fazli presented his thesis entitled “Imparsialitas Portal Berita Media Online Terhadap Pemberitaan Isu ‘Peringatan Darurat’ Edisi 1 Agustus – 30 September 2024”. (Analisis Isi Kuantitatif).” Meanwhile, Praventyasari Mutiara presented her thesis entitled “Manajemen Impresi dalam Pertemuan Pertama Pasangan yang Berkenalan di Aplikasi Kencan”.

The Coordinator of S-1 Communication Science UNJ, Dr. Dini Safitri., S.Sos., M.Si., CPR convey her message and hopes for the two students, “Congratulations to Tya and Luthfi who have successfully completed their thesis defense. Hopefully, this can serve as an inspiration for other students. Keep achieving even after becoming alumni and never forget your almamater, S-1 Communication Science Study Program in Universitas Negeri Jakarta.”This event marks a significant milestone for undergraduate students of S-1 Communication Science Study Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, as well as a form of proof of their academic capacity and dedication in achieving achievements. More than just an individual achievement, this moment also reflects the hope for the growth of a generation of young intellectuals who are ready to make a real contribution in various scientific and social domains.
