S-1 Communication Science UNJ Participates in the Opening of an International Collaboration Class with UMT Vietnam

The S-1 Communication Science Study Program at the Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) actively participated in the opening ceremony of an international collaboration program with the University of Management and Technology (UMT) Vietnam, held at the Maftuchah Yusuf Hall, UNJ, on June 10, 2025. This event marked the beginning of the Academic-Industrial Immersion (A21) program, which ran from June 9–21, 2025.

S-1 Communication Science students also participated in the collaborative class held on June 11, 2025, as part of the Academic-Industrial Immersion (A21) series. Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR, Coordinator of the S-1 Communication Science UNJ, encouraged S-1 Communication Science students to actively participate in this event.

“This collaborative class with international students teaches students to quickly adapt to international students who wish to learn about Indonesian culture and also participate in one of the program’s flagship courses that can be applied in the industrial world,” said Dini.

The opening ceremony was attended by various parties, including the Vietnamese Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Ta Van Thong; Advisor to the Minister and Director of Public Diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ghofar Ismail; Head of the Public Service Department at Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI), Deden Mustofa; CEO of NoLimit Indonesia, Aqsath Rasyid Naradhipa; and representatives from the Tourism and Creative Economy Department of the Jakarta Timur City Government, Agung Pramanto.

The opening ceremony began with a warm and enthusiastic welcome from the Vietnamese Embassy representative, symbolizing support for cross-border cooperation in the field of communication education. Another highlight was when Vietnamese students performed a song, which was enthusiastically received by the participants.

As part of the welcoming ceremony, six UMT students symbolically received UNJ identity cards. The event concluded with the presentation of certificates and a group photo session with all delegates and invited guests.
