S-1 Communication Science UNJ Holds Health Check-up in Collaboration with Pulo Gadung and Rawamangun Public Health Centers

Jakarta, October 22, 2025S-1 Communication Science, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH), Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) held a health check-up program in collaboration with the Pulo Gadung and Rawamangun Public Health Centers (Puskesmas) on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 08:00 to 15:00 WIB, at Building K, 1st Floor, UNJ’s Dental and Oral Hospital (RSG).

The initiative aimed to promote health awareness and preventive care among the students, lecturers, and staff of FISH UNJ. Supported by the FISH UNJ Dean’s Office, the program emphasized the importance of health as the foundation for both academic and non-academic productivity.In his remarks, the Dean of FISH UNJ stated that the health check-up is “a strategic step toward creating a healthy, productive, and sustainable academic environment.” He added that such initiatives reflect UNJ’s broader commitment to improving the well-being of its academic community.

The health check-up included blood pressure measurement, blood sugar tests, and general consultations, conducted by professional medical staff from both health centers. The activity drew strong participation from students and faculty, demonstrating a growing awareness of maintaining health amid academic demands.

The Coordinator of S-1 Communication Science UNJ, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si. expresses her feelings, “This medical check-up activity is a form of the institution’s concern for the quality of life and productivity of the FISH UNJ academic community, including the Bachelor of Communication Science program. We would like to thank the Dean and all officials for organizing this event. We hope that all participants will become more aware of maintaining their health sustainably.”

Beyond its practical benefits, the event also fostered interaction and unity among students, lecturers, and staff, reinforcing the sense of community within FISH UNJ. Through continuous collaboration with local health institutions, S-1 Communication Science UNJ strives to contribute to the creation of a healthy, inclusive, and high-performing campus environment.
