
Jakarta, November 20, 2025 — The Undergraduate of Communication Science Program at Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) received a benchmarking visit from the Faculty of Dakwah and Communication, Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim (UIN Suska) Riau on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH) UNJ. The visit aimed to study UNJ’s academic management model, particularly its preparation for international accreditation.
The delegation included Febby Amelia Trisakti, S.I.Kom., M.Si., Head of the Quality Assurance Committee of the Faculty of Dakwah and Communication UIN Suska Riau, and Atila, an alumnus of UIN Suska Riau. The visiting team discussed UNJ’s quality assurance framework, documentation standards, curriculum development processes, and continuous improvement mechanisms implemented within the program.
During the session, both institutions exchanged insights on academic governance, accreditation strategies, stakeholder engagement, and strengthening program competitiveness. The dialogue also allowed the delegation to identify benchmarking points relevant to their institutional accreditation goals.
The Coordinator of Undergraduate Communication Science UNJ, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., stated “Hopefully, after this visit, concrete cooperation between the two study programs in the three pillars of higher education will be established, and UIN Syarif Kasim Riau will be able to undergo international accreditation smoothly and easily.”
The meeting concluded with expressions of appreciation and a mutual commitment to fostering continued cooperation. The Undergraduate of Communication Science Program UNJ anticipates that this benchmarking initiative will open pathways for future collaborative projects and academic partnerships with UIN Suska Riau.
