
Jakarta, November 18, 2025 — The Undergraduate Program in Communication Science participated in a benchmarking activity organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (FISH), Jakarta State University, together with the Senate of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Tidar University. The event took place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 09.00 to 12.00 WIB, at the K FISH UNJ Building, 1st Floor, Rawamangun, East Jakarta.
This benchmarking session was conducted based on an official invitation from the Dean of FISH UNJ and involved all members of the Academic Senate. The agenda aimed to compare governance practices, strengthen senate performance, and exchange insights on institutional roles and responsibilities between the two faculties.
In addition to senate-related discussions, the activity also included the exploration of a potential collaboration between the Communication Science Study Program of UNJ and Tidar University. The cooperation points were discussed as an initial step toward strengthening academic partnerships between the two institutions.
The Coordinator of Undergraduate Communication Science UNJ, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., stated In an open discussion with the Senate of Universitas Tidar, the Undergraduate Communication Studies Program of UNJ received a special mention, encouraging the program to establish collaboration with Universitas Tidar in the form of guest lectures and other potential cooperative programs.

The event was attended by vice deans, study program coordinators, administrative coordinators, and internal lecturers. Representing Tidar University in the cooperation discussion was Hanim Rohnulyanti, S.I.Kom., M.A., whose expertise in Public Relations and Marketing Public Relations contributed to discussions on inter-institutional communication processes and potential future collaborations.
Through this benchmarking activity, FISH UNJ gained clearer insights into the senate operations at Tidar University while simultaneously evaluating its own internal structures and procedures. The exchange of experiences and the planned collaboration are expected to support more effective policy implementation within the faculty.
This activity reflects FISH UNJ’s commitment to strengthening institutional governance, improving coordination, and enhancing academic quality through inter-faculty collaboration. The involvement of the Communication Science Study Program demonstrates its active role in supporting academic development at the faculty level.
