(Jakarta, September 25th 2022) – The Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) S1 Communication Studies Study Program made a Field Work or Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) and Benchmarking visit to the Univesitas Islam Negeri Sunan Kalijaga (UIN SUKA) S1 Communication Studies Study Program on 13 September 2022. During the visit, UNJ and UIN SUKA signed a memorandum of understanding between the Faculty of Social Sciences or Fakultas Ilmu Sosial (FIS) of UNJ and the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities or Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Humaniora (FISHUM) of UIN SUKA.
“Alhamdulillah a memorandum of understanding has been signed between FIS UNJ and FISHUM UIN SUKA in the context of Cooperation between the Communication Studies Study Program UNJ and UIN SUKA” said the Head of the UNJ Communication Studies S1 Study Program, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos, M.Si, C.PR.
In addition to the signing, the KKL and Benchmarking events for the Communication Studies Study Program UNJ and UIN SUKA, the event was filled with remarks from the Dean of FISHUM UIN SUKA, Dr. Mochammad Sodik, S.Sos., M.Si and the Head of Communication Studies Study Program UNJ, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos, M.Si, C.PR, followed by the introduction of the team that attended from FISHUM UIN SUKA and S1 Communication Studies Study Program UNJ.
From the FISHUM UIN SUKA it was attended by WD1, WD2, WD3, the Head of the Communication Studies Study Program, the Secretary of the Communication Studies Study Program, the Communication Studies Study Program TPJM and lecturer representatives. From the S1 Communication Studies study program, the lecturers of the UNJ Communication Science S1 were also attended.
Discussions on cooperation around the Independent Campus Learning program or MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) program, international accreditation, and cooperation to fulfill theKey Performance Indicators or IKU (Indikator Kinerja Utama) became the topics of discussion in this activity. “For research collaboration, two days after this we will hold an international conference and there will be an extended paper for UNJ Communication Science,” said the Head of the UIN Communication Studies Study Program, Dr. Rama Kertamukti, S. Sos., MSn.
The event closed with the distribution of souvenirs between FIS UNJ and FISHUM UIN SUKA, in the form of placards and books by lecturers. Don’t forget to take a group photo at the end of the session.
