UNJ COMMUNICATION STUDIES S1 STUDY PROGRAM HELD A PRACTITIONER TEACHING PUBLIC RELATIONS ETHNOGRAPHY CLASS

September 12th, 2022 – Students of the UNJ Communication Studies S1 Study Program attended the Practitioner Teaching Ethnography Public Relations Class with Prof. M. Alie Humaedi from National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). Prof. M. Alie Humaedi is currently the Head of the Research Center for Social Welfare, Village and Connectivity. Head of the UNJ Communication Studies S1 Study Program, Dr. Dini Safitri S. Sos, M. Si, CPR expects the students to learn how to conduct Ethnography Public Relations Research directly from the expert.

“Prof. Alie is an Ethnography Professor that is globally known for his works. By attending the class, students would have a chance to directly ask questions and collaborate together.” said Dini.

Ethnography Public Relations class is a kind of Qualitative Research Methods in Public Relations. In UNJ Communication Studies S1 Study Program, Ethnography Public Relations is not a mandatory subject. Moreover, the class will be held every Wednesday at 07.30 AM online via Zoom Meetings.

“As a choice subject, there are only students that have interest and big curiosity in Ethnography Public Relations in this class. Ethnography is an in-depth qualitative research method as well as Ethnography Public Relations.” said Dini.
