Jakarta, December 3, 2024, the Wira-Wiri Demo Day event of Jakarta State University was officially opened by Prof. Dr. Komarudin, M.Si as the Chancellor of Jakarta State University with a ribbon cutting as a symbol. The Wira-Wiri Demo Day event of Jakarta State University was held for two days, namely on December 3 and 4, 2024 and was filled with 100 stands with various types of businesses; services, food and beverage, start-ups, fashion, etc.
Four students of the Communication Science Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law participated in the Demo Day by showing their creativity through their innovative efforts. Hikmah Rizqiah and Tassa Khoerun Nisa presented KIMTARA, which serves typical Indonesian dishes such as rendang, yellow rice, and spicy shredded chicken with lime leaf rice in the form of kimbab as a new innovation. Dea Mutiara Zahrani introduced CRUSTOPIA, a combination of warm croissants with cold ice cream toppings on top, complete with a choice of sauces. Meanwhile, Siti Nurlailah offered CHEESY CHICKPOT, a food with two base options, namely potatoes and Mac & Cheese as an alternative to rice, served with spicy chicken with a special sauce.
Head of Communication Science Study Program Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Sc., CPR., hopes that the participation of Communication Science students in the Wira-Wiri event can be a start for them to become entrepreneurs in the future. “Congratulations to Communication Science students who have participated in Wira-Wiri. Hopefully it will be a valuable lesson and they can become successful entrepreneurs in the future,” she said.
During the event, visitors can enjoy various interesting activities, starting from product and service exhibitions from Wira-Wiri participants. This Demo Day is a forum for students of the State University of Jakarta to show their innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
By holding the Wira-Wiri Demo Day of the State University of Jakarta, it is hoped that participants can take advantage of this opportunity to promote their businesses, get valuable input, and expand their networks with industry players.
