Jakarta, December 16, 2025 — Students of the Communication Studies Program at Jakarta State University (UNJ) class of 2023 held an online discussion of 6 E-Books on Public Relations Writing through the Zoom Meeting platform. This activity aimed to review and provide insight into the E-Books produced as assignments for the Public Relations Writing course.

The event was officially opened by MC Pandu Alfiansyah, who guided the proceedings from the opening to the closing. Following the opening, the event continued with a speech from the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences at Jakarta State University, Dr. Kurniawati, M.Si. In her speech, she stated that the E-Book review event was a unique and interesting activity because it not only showcased the work of students but also provided the audience with the opportunity to gain direct insight from the discussion of the reviewed E-Book.

The next speech was delivered by the Coordinator of the Communication Studies Program at UNJ and lecturer of the Public Relations Writing course, Dr. Dini Safitri, M.Si. She explained that the six E-Books were the work of Communication Studies students at Jakarta State University from the class of 2023, which they worked on from the beginning to the end of the semester. The six E-Books were created using the Book Creator platform, and their publication process was assisted by the Senyum Ibu Indonesia Foundation to obtain QRCBN.
Furthermore, the event’s Executive Chairperson, Resti Insani Qarimah, delivered an opening statement. In her remarks, she expressed hope that this activity would provide students with a better understanding of how to compile and produce E-Books in the future. She also expressed gratitude to all parties who supported the smooth running of the E-Book Review event.

Entering the main event, the E-Book Review session was conducted on six E-Books on Public Relations Script Writing. The first two E-Books, namely the Press Release and Advertorial Text E-Books, were reviewed directly by Dr. Dini Safitri, M.Si. In her presentation, she said that there were still several parts that needed to be revised and improved, especially in terms of writing, layout, accuracy, and use of sources. Next, the third and fourth e-books, namely Opinion Articles and Features, were reviewed by Executive Chair Resti Insani Qarimah. She said that overall, the two e-books were quite good and considered suitable for students and pupils to read as reference material in completing certain assignments. The next session analyzed E-Books 5 and 6, namely Scientific Papers and Company Profiles, which were presented by Deputy Executive Chair Marsyah Putri Fauziyyah. In her explanation, she said that both E-Books were very good, especially in terms of the use of easy-to-understand language and the completeness of the information presented.

After the entire series of E-Book Review sessions was completed, the event continued with a closing session and documentation guided by the MC. The event was officially closed with a group photo of all participants and speakers.
