
Jakarta, May 15 2026 — Lecturers of Communication Science UNJ participated in the TMF Journal Conference 2025/2026: 4th National and 1st International Conference held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at The Berkeley Hotel Pratunam, Bangkok, Thailand, and online through Microsoft Teams. The conference carried the theme “Advancing Knowledge in Creative Media — Research, Innovation, and Collaboration for Responsible Communication.”
The international conference brought together academics, researchers, and communication practitioners from various countries to discuss current issues in media, digital communication, artificial intelligence, strategic communication, and creative media. The event featured multiple parallel presentation sessions and keynote discussions covering communication and media studies in both national and international contexts.
One of the contributions from lecturers of Communication Science UNJ was presented by Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., together with Xavierita Romauli Lumban Gaol and Dinar Aiko Davina. Their paper, titled “Sponsorship Lobbying and Negotiation Strategies in Encouraging Responsible Creative Media at the Cretivent Fest,” was presented in Room 3 Topic I: Strategic Communication and Marketing.
In addition, collaborative international research involving Noprita Herari and Mohd. Nur Najmi Nuji was also presented under the topic “Rethinking Framing in Algorithmically Amplified Brand Crises: Public Relations Lessons from Indonesia and Malaysia.” The study discussed public relations strategies in addressing brand crises amplified by digital algorithms in Indonesia and Malaysia.
The conference also featured discussions on artificial intelligence, digital media, media literacy, strategic communication, public diplomacy, and responsible communication practices, reflecting the growing importance of interdisciplinary collaboration in the communication field.
The Coordinator of Communication Science UNJ, Dr. Dini Safitri, S.Sos., M.Si., CPR., expressed her feelings “At this event, the Communication Science served as a co-host by sending faculty members to deliver presentations both in person and online. In addition, the program also served as a paper reviewer for the conference. Mr. Sandy and I had the opportunity to serve as reviewers. We hope that the collaboration between the two institutions will continue to thrive in the future.”
Through its participation in the TMF Journal Conference 2025/2026, lecturers of Communication Science UNJ reaffirmed its commitment to supporting international academic collaboration and advancing research in communication, media, and digital innovation.
