Jakarta, December 16, 2024 – The Communication Science Study Program of UNJ 2024 organized an event titled “E-Book Exhibition & Road to Magister of Communication Science Opening.” The event took place on Monday, December 16, 2024, at the Lobby of FISH UNJ. With the theme “Explore Communication Through Digital Pages,” the event not only showcased the E-Book Exhibition but also served as a socialization session for the upcoming Master’s Program in Communication Science at UNJ.
This event was held as part of the final examination for the Integrated Communication Technology course. It was attended by the Vice Dean III of FISH UNJ, Mr. Abdul Haris F., M.Si., the Head of the Communication Science Study Program, Mrs. Dini Safitri, M.Si., Practicing Lecturer, Mr. Raja Aksana Alrando, S.Mb., MBA., as well as students of the Communication Science Study Program, UNJ 2024.
The event began with opening remarks delivered by Ms. Syaidah Seprinal, Mrs. Dini Safitri, M.Si., and Mr. Abdul Haris F., M.Si., followed by a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony. In his speech, Mr. Abdul Haris F., M.Si., emphasized the importance of maintaining and enhancing the achievements of Communication Science students in the future, encouraging them to become pioneers in this era of digital globalization.
Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Dr. Dini Safitri, M.Si., conducted a socialization session for the upcoming Master of Communication Science program at UNJ. During the session, she announced that in 2025, the Master of Communication Science program would officially commence, with 5 out of 10 faculty members from the undergraduate Communication Science program teaching at the master’s level. She also mentioned that additional teaching staff would be recruited. Dr. Dini Safitri, M.Si., expressed her hope that current undergraduate Communication Science students would consider continuing their studies at the Master of Communication Science program at UNJ in the future.
The event continued with a talk show featuring Mr. Raja Aksana Alrando, S.Mb., MBA., as the keynote speaker. The session aimed to provide insights and tips for Communication Science students on promoting their work effectively. It also encouraged students to consistently produce innovative and relevant creations in the future.
Next, the event proceeded to the E-Book Exhibition session, which showcased a wide variety of creative works by students from the Communication Science Study Program, UNJ 2024. The exhibition featured numerous e-book titles covering diverse themes. Each e-book not only reflected the creativity of the students but also demonstrated their ability to translate brilliant ideas into inspiring and educational digital written works. These works were accessible and enjoyable for all visitors of the exhibition.
