
Jakarta, 29 October 2025 – S-1 Communication Science Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) announced that its lecturer team has secured a Top 20 Finalist position at the West Java Economic Society (WJES) 2025 for their recommendation paper titled “Bridging Job Anxiety and Passion: A Strategic Recommendation for Youth.” The selection was made following the final presentation on 22 October 2025 at the Bank Indonesia West Java Representative Office.
Authored by Noprita Herari, M.I.Kom (UNJ), Marlina, S.E., M.I.Kom (LSPR), Dunola Tri Nugraeni, M.I.Kom (LSPR), and Mega Ayu Permatasari, M.Si (UNJ), the paper proposes a communication-based strategy to help high school students convert job-related anxiety into constructive preparedness through guided passion exploration and skill development aligned with industry needs.
The final presentation took place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at the Bank Indonesia West Java Representative Office. Out of numerous submissions, the UNJ team’s research was recognised for its theoretical depth, practical relevance, and strategic insights in addressing youth employment challenges through a communication perspective.
The study not only bridges academic research and public concern but also reflects UNJ’s commitment to producing research that contributes to social innovation and youth development. By combining communication theory with actionable strategies, the authors highlight how educational institutions can play a transformative role in shaping future-ready generations.
